Cuppa Fruit Cobbler is a classic Southern and Appalachian-style dessert known for its simplicity and dependable results. The name comes from its easy-to-remember proportions—one cup each of self-rising flour, sugar, and milk—combined with butter to create a tender, golden crust as it bakes around sweet peaches. Served warm, often with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream, this cobbler has long been a favorite for family gatherings, church suppers, and summer meals when fresh or canned fruit is plentiful.
